BOLERO

16.1 1/2 hands (1975-1987)
Bolero was stationed at Landesbrueck stallion station where during his 9 year breeding career he sired an incredible 47 licensed stallions, 317 registered broodmares,  at least 96 of these mares earned States Premium award.
He was an extremely popular stallion up until early death at age 12. His popularity was referred to as the "Bolero Boom".

Some of his offspring include:
Baccarole - Champion mare at the 1989 Louis-Wiegels Show in Germany
                    European Champion mare at the Brussels Show in 1990.
Baltengracie - Champion at the Louis-Wiegels Show in 1991.
Breantano II - Celle stallion, VhW Stallion of the Year 2003.
Bolero daughters are considered very valuable as broodmares and stallion sons such as Brentano II (Celle stallion & Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test, also sire of Brentina - Debbie McDonald's international dressage horse -member of the '02 WEG silver medal winning US team) continue this very successful line.

 Bolero was also the sire of  three winners in the three year old Riding Horse class at the European Championship - Bundeschampionate:
 Boruschkin in 1984
 Bini Bo in 1987
 Bocaccio in 1988.
 (all were also successful in advanced dressage)
 Borsalino Grand Prix dressage with Heike Kemmer
 Bossanova Grand Prix dressage.

Bolero progeny still continue to prove their sire's value as a producer of top quality.
