A world class pedigree combined with exceptional athleticism and rideability made Weltanzer one of the top stallions at the 2004 100 Day Stallion Test.
Fifth overall with a final score of 113, he earned an 8.5 on rideability and was fourth overall in dressage with a score of 121.63.
The test rider found him to be extremely adjustable over the jumps as well as soft and elastic on the flat and during his impressive dressage work. Weltanzer was courageous and forward over the cross country, enthusiastic about being out and 'having fun' yet remained sensible and attentive to his rider.
